Snow Day

Today it snowed and the kids had off from school. Mom and Dad stayed at home to work. I was in and out of the crate all day long.

I keep going back and forth between comprimising on the cat situation and trying to make this house cat free.

What I don't understand is - why does the cat get to roam free around the house?

The other problem I'm having is that she seems less scared of me. I might have to come up with something other than fear mongering. Hmmm, maybe I'll try whining. ALOT.

But I can't seem to distract Mom and Dad from their tv watching tonight. And they're not even watching Animal Planet!

Standing Strong

After briefly wavering in my anti-cat stance yesterday, today I'm feeling strong again. I will not stand down! I'm barking, whining, and chasing the cat away every chance I get.

This always gets me in the crate. Needless to say, I've been spending alot of time in the crate defending my rights.

Everyone left today for a long time! What's up with that? At least I was a good boy and didn't soil my crate.

But it looks like they're serious about this kitty. So I decided to try and give the cat a chance tonight. But I still don't like her. She's not as cute as me. I'm a BEAGLE - can you get any cuter than a beagle?!?!?!?

I've Got a Case of the Mondays

This morning i peed at the top of the stairs just to remind everyone of how unhappy I am about the cat situation. I was put in my crate for that. It's ok. I'm going to stand for justice even if it means being crated.

My dad worked from home today. That was fun. He walked me during the day.

My mom brought home a divider to prevent me from going upstairs where the cat is. This is keeping me from engaging in my anti-cat campaign.

But this evening I still managed to fuss about the cat, and I've been doing alot of crate time. Hopefully they'll see the light soon.

The Cat

Today my new family left the house for a couple of hours. I wasn't happy about this so I pooped and peed in my crate on their blanket just to let them know. But that wasn't the worst part.

When they came home, they had a cat with them! I don't like this. Not one bit! I'm barking for the first time to let them know this is unacceptable.

Oh no! It looks like the cat is going to sleep in my parents room tonight. What? They want me to sleep in Nick's room? I mean, he's cool and everything, but I've got to be the favorite pet. So I pooped at the bottom of the stairs. Then my dad said I had to go in the crate. I knew it was either that or sleep in Nick's room, so I chose Nick's room. I lost the battle but not the war.

Hi, I'm Max and I'm a beagle.

Today was my first day in my forever home! I had no idea my brother and sister were going to be the Cinekids. That's so cool. I hope they let me be in an episode.

They took me to Petco and bought me some treats!

I've got a pretty sweet set up. A brand new crate and a green dog bed by the fireplace.

My food and water is in the kitchen. I was taken for a walk around the block today and I marked some mailboxes to let the other dogs know that I'm in the neighborhood.

I had fun playing fetch with a new red tennis ball.

My humans found out I LOVE being rubbed on my tummy near my front legs. They're very smart and I'm glad they catch on quick. Well, I better run. Time for bed. I'm sleeping with my new parents tonight. Yippeee!
